Move over Windows XP take a look at Longhorn! :)

Posted on 09/07/2004 11:52:28 PM PDT by FesterUSMC

Hey take a look at Longhorn if your using WinXP or WinXp SP2. Pretty cool.

Longhorn Transformation Pack

Remember, backup all your files before using this, this is just a look into what Longhorn will look like, just a taste. I found this site from anandtech.com he is a reputable computer geek and would not put something on his site that would harm your system. I have it on my computer and give you some neat themes and even gives you a weird side bar for notes and such.. Pretty cool...

Here is one of the MANY wallpapers that comes with the transformation pack

I really wish Longhorn would have flowing cloud background and scenery that changes.

Why not? Have the grass blow in the wind and clouds move.

OS X. You can run a screensaver in the background. he screensaver is behind all your desktop icons and open windows, so it moves.

Wow! No icons! No hard drives! No programs! No data!

Truly this is the future of computing!

I know, it was just a joke. We Mac types have to tweak the opposition, you know. ;-)

Hey, can anyone say G5? OSX is available today! Give up your problem PC and come over to the light side! No crashes, no viruses, its only a really cool way to use a tool!

What's that bar in the lower-right corner above the task bar? TV card controls?

Great Pic, Thanks! Must be Fujichrome for that kind of saturation. It's now my desktop too!

I just built my first system a few months ago. It's an ABIT IC7-G, P4 2.8"C", Radeon 9600 based unit, all bought from "Newegg" and NEVER a BSOD, even after SP2!

Don't game much, so no overclocking...yet.
