I don't hear about too many men who vote with their pants even when there is a pretty girl in the running

You don't see many good-lookin women running. But you know that millions of guy drink Pepsi so Britney will like them and Coors so they will have a chance at the Twins.

Mary Carey was kinda skanky but she did okay in her run.

I stand corrected.

I'm concerned about this race. Burr should be running more agressively.

Still, I think this is a 50/50 race. Bush 'should' pull Burr over the top. Let's see if that happens.

Bowels has gotten smarter. On his run against Dole he was hammered on his assoication with Clinton.

Kerry was in the state last week and Bowels was nowhere to be seen. Infact, the Dem. Gov and Lt. Gov were nowhere to be seen either. The State Auditor was the guy who introduced him at the town meeting.

I believe this Senate race will boil down to Burr's voting record in Congress. Burr has one while Bowles doesn't. Burr needs to convince Tar Heels that his 10 year voting record is good not only for the Winston-Salem area, but for all of North Carolina.

Conservatives should not panic, but they have cause for concern. It is true that Bowles' support is far lower than his name I.D., which is a very good sign. But the election is less than 60 days away, and Burr has yet to poll over 40%. As for money, it's the cash on hand, not total receipts, which is important. The next FEC report will shed more light on that situation.

The latest poll I saw was by SurveyUSA, which shows Bowles leading by 50% to 40%.

C-Span is replaying the debate from last month. Bowles keeps mentioning some plan he has in response to every other question. This comes off very lame after last night's presidential debate.
