Sorry...I love brevity but sometimes..
"Boo" coverage concerns the the widely circulated, then retracted, report by Tim Hayes of the Associated Press last Friday. W was campaigning and mentioned he sent his best wishes to former president Clinton after news of Clinton's heart operation broke. Reporter Hays wrote 'the crowd booed (reference toward Clinton) and Bush did nothing to stop it,' (paraphrasing).
The boos from the crowd and Bush's "refusal" to condemn them never happened. They were the whole cloth invention of an obvious media Bush-hater looking for a spin (or driven by the fiction) of W's lack of Swiftvets condemnation.
It was as bald a lie as I've observed in the campaign but not unexpected, given Kerry's current status.
