I got whacked twice with both hurricanes in Orlando.
However, my rule is don't even think about these hurricanes until landfall is 36 hours away. They simply change too much when you are looking out 48 hours plus.
So did wifey's sister in Lakeland; they reported today that Chuck was worse for them (no damage to them, but more in the way of tree downings, etc.) than Frances, other than seven hours sans power from Frances.
They've lobbied for us to retire near them down there....ain't gonna happen; we'll stick with the San Andreas fault, thank you.
