I don't put much faith in these long term models at this point. Just this morning, the UKMET model had Ivan in the Yucatan.
Meanwhile, Ivan continues to chug west and so far south that Venezuela has issued warnings. I don't think anyone in Florida should overreact to what these models show tonight. If they're still showing that sort of track by Thursday night, then feel free to panic.
Yeah, Ivan is incredibly far south. It would be terribly good if it would knock off Chavez in Communist Venezuela.
