What would we do without experts?
Are these the same experts that said playing dodgeball would turn our kids into violent criminals?
They will not allow dodgeball in my kids school because it it too violent. My kids is 8.
What sort of "plan" is going to stop 30+ armed terrorists? A single off-duty cop or private guard isn't going to cut it. Armed teachers and staff, a high fraction of those in a given school, might at least discourage the attempt. As it is, armed teachers or even armed parent volunteer security would be a federal crime. And it has to be armed. Guys in red berets with radios and cell phones aren't going to do the job. Time to repeal the "Gun Free School Zones Act". (Wouldn't the main stream media go ballistic over that notion? )

They're trying to raise a nation of wimps.
