NORTON, Mass. (AP) -- Vijay Singh has been playing the best golf in the world for a long time. Now he has Tiger Woods' No. 1 ranking to prove it.

Singh finished his long climb to the top of golf's ultimate leaderboard by beating Woods in a head-to-head matchup, shooting a 69 on Monday to win the Deutsche Bank Championship by three strokes and claim Woods' spot as the top-ranked player in the world.

It was Singh's sixth victory of the year, enough to convince the computers that crunch the numbers what many have known for months.

Down Goes America!

FIJI RULES!

Salute the Flag and Anthem of Fiji.

Golf is European dominated. The United States has lost every match to Europe in the past two years.

More than likely, Tiger's attention is centered elsewhere, like on a certain Swedish model.

Tiger put up a good fight, but there is really nothing that can compete with the incredible shots Vijay was making - especially some of those long, snakey puts!

Has anyone else noticed that Tiger seems to not have his edge since about the time he proposed to his girlfreind?

Hmmmmm.

So now we outsource golf championships to India too, heh? Another fine mess!
