Just saw this on Drudge. Did a quick search and got some 'related' hits, but not the exact same. Seems Fat Mike is trying to pass himself off as someone with class (a la Michael Phelps) and is excusing his propaganda piece from the Oscar consideration of his own volition (right). His 'alledged' email address is included if anyone feels like FReeping

I have a simpler explanation. His drivel was NOT a documentary.

It doesn't qualify as a documentary - it wouldn't have been nominated and he would have to explain it.
It was shown on Cuban television - an automatic disqualifier.

I had dinner recently with a well-known pollster who had often worked for Republicans. He told me that when he went to see "Fahrenheit 9/11" he got so distraught he twice had to go out in the lobby and pace during the movie. Yeah, that's the ticket! I had dinner with a Republican. Sure, that'll work.
A dinner ... and a Republican. And he told me that he liked my movie. Yeah, that's the ticket. He liked my movie.
And, and and ... George Bush cheated in Florida, he told me. Yeah, cheated in Florida. That too.
Yeah, that's the ticket.

Michael Moores movie bombed all right, it got the Swift Boat veterans on the move and sunk Kerrys boat. Despite Micheal Moores delusions of Grandeur that movie is helping George Bush to become President again. Would love to meet Miche=ale Moore someday i know how he likes to eat and I have a great recipe for a knuckle sandwich.

I had dinner recently with a well-known pollster who had often worked for Republicans. He told me that Just like you called up Fred Barnes and he confessed he was ignorant about the Iliad and Oddyssey?
If nothing else, looks like Mr. Moore has learned to stop giving names and direct quotes to his imaginary conversations.

I refuse to watch the Oscars because I am so turned off by Hollywood bias. I am sure Hollywood will reward MM just like the Cannes festival did. Who cares about the Hollywood Airhead Festival?

But, here's the bad news for Bush: Though 80% going IN to your movie are Kerry voters, 100% of those COMING OUT of your movie are Kerry voters. Here's the bad news for Kerry: 100% of those who pay to go see the movie and come out Kerry supporters are probably too ignorant to know where they are supposed to go to vote much less knowing who to vote for.

Why I Will Not Seek a Best Documentary Oscar...
Because I'm really going for BEST PICTURE and I'M A LYING SCUMBAG!
LOS ANGELES (AP) - Michael Moore says he won't submit "Fahrenheit 9/11" for consideration as best documentary at this year's Academy Awards. Instead, he's going for the bigger prize of best picture.
