Iran comes to mind. Russians often call them "friends" and they pay dollars for nuke technology.
As for "dismembering" the Iranian (and Saudi) project would be to bottle up and deter oil and gas exports and development in the Caspian region. The jihadis are dupes.

keep in mind that the Russian guv knock off live coverage of the crisis and tried to hide what was happening. Free press is almost dead again. I have a feeling that there may be more to come out regarding the negotiations.
Iran could be a candidate for dismemberment if it comes to it. If the mullahs can't be overthrown any other way, we can start working toward Azeri union with the motherland, Baluchi independence, Arab independence, Kurdish independence, which would leave the Persians with about a fourth of what they have now.
