When this election is over and we look back at who was militantly partisan, the Republicans should look to Hollywood. That is a place that needs to be cleaned up. The first order of business should be a Hollywood federal drug task force. The second order of business should be an excise tax on movies. Paybacks should be painful.

I would watch just to see if M&Mboy turns purple and bursts scattering bits of himself all over the leftist audience.
1"would you like another bit of self satisfaction"
2 "Oh no I just couldnt swallow any more of me own stuff"
1"Just a wee bit more? It will help fill that emptiness in your soul."
2 "Oooh alright. just a wee bit more"

Since THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST has a frog leg's chance in France to be nominated because of all the violence, I'm sure the Academy will have no problem giving the award to Michael Moron

John Kerry thinks Michael Moore is the heart and soul of the American People. Unfortunately, so does Hollywood. He's going to win Best Picture.
To: mylife
That's what I'm afraid of. Where are the REALLY good films this year? Beyond the Passion of the Christ, can you name one? Head to head, the academy will give the nod to F-911, because, I agree, regardless of the magnitude and excellence of TPOTC, there is no way the academy gives it Best Picture.

Michael Moore says he won't submit "Fahrenheit 9/11" for consideration as best documentary at this year's Academy Awards. Instead, he's going for the bigger prize of best picture. How about submitting it for best propaganda film?

Anyone from Hollywood who is reading this is welcome to.
WAKE UP! You are losing my money. I will not buy your products, your ads, your movies, your schtick, your anything, as long as you sell this tripe and call it quality.

"The Passion of the Christ" is the picture that deserves to win the Oscar. "
I agree; however, I doubt if it will even receive the nomination.

The movie has cheered Democrats but enraged the president's supporters, who booed Moore when he visited the Republican National Convention last week. Yeah, and I bet President George W Bush didn't do anything to stop the booing either.

F/9-11 winning the Oscar will be like the Noble peace prize being awarded to Jimmy Carter. The NPP lost whatever credibility it had left soon after. Oscar is in danger of losing whatever prestige it still clings to in event of supporting this pic.

On his website he claims to be doing this so he can get it on TV and in the next sentence acknowledges that it is probably too late to get it on TV by the election.
Then he says he wants to give other documentaries a chance since he (hint, hint) is the presumed winner.
Of course the reason the load is doing this is that he knows that all the falsehoods in his fictumentary have been exposed and even the Academy would be hard pressed to justify its nomination.
A best picture nomination should be a shoo since authenticity rules won't be a problem for a work of fiction. If Bush wins, look for an hysterical Hollywood to pour heaps of nominations on this 90 minute waste of time.

And just who are you going to believe?
This guy?...

Or these guys!?
Michael Moore is a bloated, ridiculous wannabe filmaker whose 15 minutes of fame are done only he won't recognize it. Those men above gave him that right and he should be on his freakin' knees thanking God they did!
God bless our troops wherever they may be.

If Kerry wins, I won't watch it. If Bush wins, I will, and then, I'll hope he wins so he'll have to go up on the stage and realize that it didn't make a damn bit of difference.

Hard to take that list seriously when TPOTC has the same rating as "The Ladykillers".
