This man should have be hung as a traitor.

Moore said he and his producing partner, Harvey Weinstein, agreed "Fahrenheit 9/11" would stand a better chance if they focused solely on the top Oscar. He also said he wanted to be "supportive of my teammates in nonfiction film."

Remember people,
John Kerry thinks Michael Moore is the heart and soul of the American People.

If that piece of slop (I'm talking about the movie... I think) wins Best Picture, I will swear off watching the Academy Awards forever. It will clearly be a political, not artistic, statement and if that happens the Academy should abandon any pretense of being an organization that judges artistic merit.

Agreed. There are so many proclamations on this site predicting the impending doom of Michael Moore, and yet somehow it just fuels the fire.
Ignore him, seconded.

I saw the movie. Looking at it as a movie, it ain't that great. The first half is mostly talking heads and drags considerably, the second picks up more but isn't enought to save the movie. Of course, many will vote for it solely to make a political statement.

I think this is great, let the Academy vote it best picture and display their venom and hatred for the world to see.
