262 mass graves discovered in Iraq

KUWAIT CITY, Sept. 6 (UPI) -- Iraqi Human Rights Minister Bakhtiar Amin Monday said 262 mass graves have been found in Iraq containing remains of people killed by the ousted Baath regime.

Speaking upon his arrival in Kuwait to attend a meeting of countries with missing people in Iraq, Amin said Iraq's security situation prevented the government from searching for more mass graves and identifying the bodies.

"We are working on uncovering all the crimes of the former Iraqi regime including mass graves, war crimes and crimes against humanity committed inside and outside Iraq," Amin said.

He said the information would help convict ousted Iraqi President Saddam Hussein and his senior aides who will stand trial by a special Iraqi court.

He said the victims of Saddam's regime exceeded 1 million, but there was no accurate estimate.

It's funny.. The Democrats (and John Kerry) keep saying the War in Kosovo was to prevent mass Graves and that was the only reason to go to war with Yugoslavia. The United States needed no further justification. No mass graves were ever found.

Now with Iraq the Democrats (And John Kerry) say that Mass Graves is not enough reason to go to war..

hmmmm

When does the media intend to cover these mass graves?

How about CNN and MSNBC?

No mass graves were ever found.

That's not true. The problem is, they were all found in Iraq.

The Kerry camp will be blaming the Swift Boat Vets for the mass graves in Iraq....(chuckle). This is just another of the many examples of lying hypocrisy and flip-flopping from this loser. Blame anything and everything on any opponent that speaks out against you...the elitist liberal Dems just cannot handle it.

John Kerry: this was the wrong war at the wrong time against the wrong enemy.

ROFL. Facts are stupid things.

That's still not as bad as Bush removing Saddam w/o UN permission.

Oops, never mind, I mis-read your post. Yes, there never were any mass graves in Kosovo. Thanks for posting this story. I'm sure it will get banner headlines in all our papers, and lead on the evening news--don't you think?

After watching the viciousness of the Iraqi factions I think maybe Saddam had the right idea.

Let's double that amount.
