I think the dems are scared s***less right now because they know that their negative campaign against the president started too soon (over a year ago) and is running out of steam. They have no new negative issues to raise and the people have already heard their cries.
Watch for the next issue to be raised that will throw Kerry off kilter! I'm telling you, these guys know what they are doing and will be campaigning hard until Nov. 3. Dubya was a student of the master, Lee Atwater, and Rove is working the grass roots like crazy.
No incumbent has lost a lead like Dubya's after Labor Day.
