The people of Beslan need our help. Their children and granchildren have been murdered, hundreds are maimed (without eyes, limbs, badly burned due to the Wahhabist bombs) and this is a poor area of Russia with few medical and economic resources. One way to help is on the website of www.moscowhelp.org. This is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit recognized by the IRS and all of the donations raised by it go directly to those who need it most: the victims and their families in Russia. They have a track record: they raised several hundred thousand for the victims of the terrorist attack on the Nord-Ost theater (this is all on the website) . We cannot sit by and do nothing when our Russian Orthodox brothers and sisters are suffering (one family lost four daughters, one man lost six grandchildren, children were raped, shot in the back while fleeing, their parents shot by the devils in front of their very eyes). The perpetrators are the very louts who killed 3,000 Americans nearly three years ago in September. Fight back against the animals by helping those they so grievously wounded. Give what you can; you can see the list of donors on-site; just click on donations. So far, they have raised $150,000 in the US and I understand that ALL of it (no administrative or salary costs) will go to the families of this atrocity.

Islam has become the 21st century version of Nazism.

Not all Nazis or Germans in general actually gassed people in the concentration camps, massacred civilians or committed other atrocities and war crimes, but they aided and abetted those who did by keeping silent, by being good party members and by supporting the Nazi war effort. We had no moral problem with bombing German cities in an all out effort to end Nazism. We need to end Islam with the same resolve we had to end Nazism.

It's been said that an isalmic fundamentalist will kill you, a "moderate" moslem just wants you dead. That's one of the reasons that islam was declared illegal in the U.S. in 1892. (Of course, that was an age where there was more spiritual awareness than we have today.)

My oldest daughter (in 4th grade) wanted to help make a difference. She came up with a "We are the children of" theme, and she is sending this note in to her principal. Hopefully, other Freepers can get their kids (and their schools) involved.

Dear Principal:
The children of Beslan need our help. They need to know that children of other nations care about them. Some time ago, President Bush had asked for donations to the Iraqi children. Now, we should do the same for the children of Beslan.

Can we please ask for donations so that the children can have their school rebuilt? My sisters and I have included money from our allowances and would like to send this to the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the USA, to the victims of Beslan attack, 2650 Wisconsin Ave., NW, Washington DC 20007.

We are the children of St. Thomas. Even though we speak a different language, live in a different nation, and may have a different religion, we are children like you, and we care about what happened to you, your school, and fellow classmates. Agreed. The only thing attractive about Islam, IMHO, is their design capabilities (buildings, patterns, etc.). The rest, culture, social progress and education leave much to be desired. It is about time that other cultures, whether it is the US, New Europe, Russia, India or China, come down on the Islamic countries like a ton of bricks.

I cannot tell you how much respect I lost for Arab countries in particular and Islam in general.
