A .44 Special is the only thing left in my current Smith wish list. Triplelocks are out, but a nice Model 24 would be nice.

I have let a couple salesmen at various firearms establishments around town know that there is a "finders fee" for things I want. Just tuck it under the counter and give me a call. If I don't buy it, I still give them half. It works wonders.

Mmmmm, .44 special.

I too would like to find a .44, preferably something with a 3 or 4" barrel. Luckily we're on opposite sides of the country.

I like your idea of finders fees.

I've been filling out my .357 collection this summer. A King Cobra w/2.5" barrel, a Model 19 w/4" and a Model 66 with a 2.5" barrel. (I guess I've been filling out my snubby collection also.)

I'm really wanting a 'bulldog' though, something that starts with a "4" that has a 3" or less barrel. I'd love a 3" 25 (625) or the equivalent in a .44.
