I sent an email to ask why the bogus AP news story of "BOOS" was still on their web site.
Below is my email and their response:
My email:
Subject: Are you reporting accurately?
Why is it the article below (link provided) is still on your website when it contians
an obvious retracted LIE?
Have you corrected this bogus story?
"Many in Bush's audience booed when Clinton's name was mentioned."

Thank you. Chris
Here is the response:
The AP corrected the story but we didn't. It shouldn't
have happened and I'll work hard to make sure it doesn't happen again.
A correction will be posted to our website.

Do yous guys think anything else should be done?
There is still at least 10 sites carrying this bogus story!
Tell me where they are and I'll send an email. I'm sick of this crap!
They must apologize over and over until we're sick of hearing from them. That would be a start. Then months later we'll bring it up again like it just happened.
bobsmith@kwwl.com
I just went to the article and found that email.
Yeah, there's something else that should be done. The BC/'04 Campaign should pull the credentials of all AP writers and not allow them to attend any Bush/Cheney events until a nation-wide, formal apology is given.
Why is it that the BOGUS story is still up on these websites? That's what I don't get!

The AP is on a roll right now. They also completely misrepresented Schwarzenegger's convention speech and solicited comments from historians about their version, not Arnold's.
Sent this email to the Harlingen Tx station. we'll see what happens.
Mr. Chu
The story referenced above is a lie and has been pulled by the AP why is it still on your web site? I would think KGBT had more integrity than to post Lies on its website.
Thanks for your quick response to pulling this untrue news article.
XXXX XXXXXX
It's just amazing to see a known lie perpetrated
Because the AP never really retracted story 2257936 from the news feeds.
I sent email to the boss telling them why I would never trust their news stories again. Thanks.
