The Democrats are hoping that more Americans will be killed in Iraq, and I would not be surprised (and I wish I was wrong on this) that they are hoping we have another 9/11 here in the United States.
But again, how would this help Kerry. He is on record as saying our military action was wrong and we should let the UN protect us.
No, I am afraid the terrorist (and the Democrats) are miscalculating on the effect another terrorist attack will have.
The best thing that could happen is for the "tinderbox" to ignite, reminding everyone tha we are in a war, and giving Bush the exuse he needs to override the Iraqi government and say, "wipe 'em out." Bush benefits, Iraq benefits.
