The problem is Islam. You cannot separate it from the violence. Where are the moderates? Where is their indignation? The only help we get against the barbarians are from secular voices. We get nothing but excuses and blame from Islamic clerics.
President Bush's statements that Islam is a peaceful religion is a fiction. There is no evidence of that from the beginning of the cult and its violent founder.
It is uncomfortable for you and others to believe that Islam is evil in and of itself, but it is true. It is the worship of a false god and it defends the killing of innocents in the name of a false god. That is not something new. They nearly conquered Europe using that violence and they seem to be on the road in the same direction.
You seem comfortable with the moral equivalency argument by pointing to the Old Testament. What Jewish or Christian movement today slaughters innocents simply for their unbelief? There is no moral equivalency. PERIOD.
People should not deceive themselves. Islam is a threat to peace everywhere it has spread.
We are fighting this false religion whether you choose to believe it or not. We didn't start it. They did.
That's right. Christian and Jewish societies have outgrown, and learned to ignore, the loopy lifestyle requirements and endorsing of violence found in their sacred books. We don't drag disobedient children to be stoned in the public square, we have nothing against cotton/polyester T-shirts, allow divorce, etc, etc... If we could do that, so can they. Meanwhile, go after people who commit crimes. If a gang plans bombings, find them and take them out before they can, or, failing that, after. If a nation's rulers pose a danger, go after this nation, not after all nations with the same dominant religion. A holy-war mindset will bring NOTHING of good.
