Welcome to the real world, folks. There is an insidious global cancer growing. Who is going to have the courage to stand with us and stop it in its tracks?

If Putin's response involves a massive reprisal in Chechnya, I think I'm going to praise him for it. If it goes beyond Chechnya and involves other areas which have been known to harbor terrorists, or represent their highest aspirations, I'll also welcome that.

I'm sorry. This is total war. If he doesn't, it's going to leave me uneasy about what else Russia will tolerate. And it will leave me uneasy about what we will tolerate ourselves.

Take the kid gloves off, Mr. Putin. Make the Islamic would sit up and remember. Give them something they'll never forget.

How dare anyone blame Moslems!

It was a coalition. A group of Irish conspired with old Swedish women who like to knit.

Throw in a few Peruvians.

The whole WORLD better start seeing a pattern here.

It's not Russia's fault, it's not Putin's fault, it is the fault of world-wide Islam!

Personally I think Putin is using Al Quaeda to take the pressure off him. Oh!!! I think Al Quaeda had a hand in this allright I just dont fathom they were the planners.

There is no doubt the rest of the world is slow waking up to the fact that the United States and George Bush were right all along in our fight against terror,Its time the world came to join us in this fight and stop their attack on our economy and our culture.

Mr. Putin-- forget that meeting with Shroeder and Chirac. Oh, and welcome to WWIII.

Sergei Markov, an analyst close to the Kremlin, said: 'This is the beginning of a new political-military force joining forces against Russia.

'It is unclear exactly what the force is, but people like Basayev are merely its puppets.'

Communism loves al Quaeda.

Another example of how wrong John Kerry and the Democrats are in their assessment of this war on terror and the real need to re-elect George W Bush.

It is time to end is-slime. I have spoken of is-slime being like a cancer; perhaps it would be better to view it as a virus that transforms individuals into monsters.

Does one negotiate with polio? Does one compromise with smallpox? Should we adopt a live-and-let-live approach to bubonic plague? No - we eradicated these diseases. As with these, so too with is-slime.

Didn't the Clinton Administration go to war to support the "Muslim" Chechen rebels? Refresh my memory of the Bosnian air war Clinton fought.

Russian officials claimed several of the hostage-takers at Beslan were from Arab countries, but have yet to back that up with evidence.

I had access to cable tv for the last couple of days, and I heard that several of the dead were Arab. This was Fox News Channel. I don't doubt it for one minute.

Russia is getting hit hard. First the theatre, then the two airplanes, now the school.

It's really more than annoying we have to go to Scotland to get our news.

...meanwhile, back to the endless glowing pictures of the Clintons at Conventions, and stories about diets for the healthy heart....

I have no quarrel with Russia getting into the game against Al-Qaeda, but this claim will not make the problem with Chechen rebels go away. The roots of this go way back in Soviet & Russian history...

All I can say to those Ally boys is: watch out, the Russians are on your tail. And Putin doesn't get mad, he gets even.

One problem with Putin pulling out all the stops and flattening Chechnya...

Al Qaeda would cheerfully sacrifice Chechnya and the Muslims there.

That is, more deaths for the Murder Cult of Dar al Islam to celebrate.

Not that flattening Chechnya would cause me much consternation...but..

If we could just manage, in the minds of the world, to redefine Islam as an ideology like communism or nazism.

Calling it a religion protects it. What we need, as well as military power, is a psyops/PR/propoganda war on the whole idea of Islam as some faintly cute and quaint religion.

Turn them into the Klan. The Nazis. Anything but a faith.
