Wow! This guy IS terrific! Up on every last detail and brilliantly tying it together in one neat package!

Thanks for sharing him, I'll look for his stuff in the future :-)

Pathetic--maybe. Sad--no way.

I would agree that things like what happened during his milatary record's silent years have to be treated carefully. It could be asked in question form - how did the military react to Kerry, while he was still in the service, meeting privately on foreign soil with delagates from a Communist state? We don't know, because Kerry refuses to release his records". That gets the point across, and is bulletproof regarding opponents using it to divert the main truth of the article.

Nope...Some of us are sane, hard-working, conservative Freepers. And I think we despise the Clintons, Gore, Reno, NARALists, wacko judges, moral relativists, multiculturalists etc. with a special intensity that only a conservative boomer can fully appreciate. They do NOT represent the best of our generation. Sadly, they are loud, ruthless and have a death grip on the media and universities. We look on them with horror and shame. Collectively, as a generation, we have a lot to answer for. I hope our nation can survive their insanity and hatred of America.

Lainde,
Wow. I couldn't agree more. THIS IS THE POST OF THE DAY. Will you be my new best friend? ;) Only kidding. That was really articulate.

Recall in 1992 John Kerry took to the floor of the Senate and decried any consideration of Bill Clinton's burning his draft card or protesting against the US from foreign soil I heard the head of the DNC, Terry McWhatever refer to Zell Miller's "racist past" with Lester Maddox.

He was OK in '92 though when he was the keynote speaker for the dims.

Their utter hypocrcy and stupidity never ceases to amaze me.

Almost 2 months to the election American public for the most part is uniformed fickle and has a very short memory span . Iraq can blow up etc etc It ain't in the bag Remember the euphoria over the polls in 2000 on this site Everybody was ready to pop the drinks prior to election day Rush Limbaugh was crowing about the upcoming election of Bush Look what happened

Again, the story was the story (article) not the headline. My mistake for not pointing that out. I hope nobody on here would be naive enough to think we have ANYTHING in the bag. That is a fool's game but thanks for the free advice.
As far as your list, I was never popping corks or resting on Rush Limbaugh's prognostications, I dont remember any euphoria over the polls in 2000 but I was not on this cite. At any rate, your advice needs to be heeded by all. I for one however already know this rule. Maybe it's you who is teaching what you most need to learn. I don't know, I learned this rule a long time ago. Way too painful a lesson to (hopefully) ever have to learn again. If only I were still so naive!

I think your points are right, but maybe a little over-analytical. I don't think the average person or vet is going to think, "Oh, he was court-martialed, but it's okay, he had AMNESTY." Remember, he's been hammering Bush and Cheney on their military record. The average person will think, "Bush didn't have a court martial".

And remember who the Swift Vets are. They are his commanders and higher-ups. Who would know better than they, in spite of the official record, whether Kerry had a court-martial for fraternizing with the enemy while still in uniform?

I'm only speculating. It's just that a CM seems to fit the description of the "surprise" the SBVT talked about in mid August.

EXCELLENT point! (The dims? LoL.) But seriously, TerryMc[expletive] actually SAID that? And of course no one in the media was around to make the point you so quickly picked up on?? Incredible. Simply, incredible.

And what about Robert ByrdBrain? Is anyone starting to notice that the Dems have more KKK members than your average klan rally? And what about the African American racists and race baiters in that party? Is anyone thinking that maybe the “Party of Tolerance” is as genuine a moniker as “Islam: The Religion of Peace”?

From what I understand, if you get 3 purple hearts you are out of Nam automatically...

There's no automatically involved.

The third PH permits the person to request reassignment; it doesn't mandate that a reassignment take place. While his fellow officers may have suggested it (and certainly didn't object), Kerry had to ask for the transfer to get it.
