Carville did not "trash" Miller, not by my reading of the transcript. James came off as more peeved at Miller than anything else. They have obviously known each other a long time - - he officiated at Carville's wedding and Carville ran his Senate campaign in 1990 - - and I think Carville here was just doing his mercenary spin thing. He was definitely not over the top this time.
