Hey, if Kerry tries to hit back now, he will be seen as a sore loser. So Mr. Kerry, go right ahead!
It's NOT the campaign..
It's the CANDIDATE, stupid...
Semper Fi
Hit back at Bush? That is what these people have been doing for over a year and a half.
The dems forgot that it's not wise to being a crippled mule to a horse race.
Oh, all of a sudden Bush is a legitimate President? lol!
(when it suits them)
Wackos all of 'em.
I love how the liberal commentators always gloat and talk about what sKerry does right when he was ahead, and try to give fervent advice when he's behind. They never had all that sincere advice for the President when he was behind.
Then save all of the money John and sign the 180.
Jeez...
True. But they have no answer for the Swift Vets. They deployed the press, they threatened Bush, they wanted censorship.
Since Kerry isn't going to answer any questions all they got is the preemptive victimology strategy. Plus saying they're going to "hit back" reinforces the Kerry supporters' beliefs that the Swift Vets accusations are untrue - without addressing them directly.
Really, what else can they do? Today they've started to blame Kerry's press people though they did all they could do. Think of what they did - they got MSM outlets, one after another, to uncritically denounce the Swifties' claims. That's a lot of power displayed.
In the end, it won't be enough.
JAMES CARVILLE: Well, sure. He's had a bad August. But it's imminently fixable. I think he's starting to get better. The question he's got to point to is, you know, the country's had a bad August. And I think once they focus on that from unemployment numbers to poverty numbers to more soldiers in Iraq being wounded, to everything else, then I think that Senator Kerry's putting things into place that's going to improve his campaign. I expect that to happen in the next three days.
Isn't there something sick about this attitude? Soldiers have to die, poverty has to increase and people have to lose jobs for Kerry to do well. This would make a great campaign ad for Bush.

Nice of Carville to admit that any bad news for America is good news for Kerry. Misplaced priorities are not a winning campaign platform.
Has Kerry ever had any executive experience?
Or you could say "all of a sudden we DO get bounces out of conventions?" A month ago we were all roundly informed that the voters were so locked in that no one would get a noteable bounce.
But hey, we're not supposed to notice are we?
Good Point!
Every time I see James Carvile, he begins to look more and more reptilian. No wonder he is known as Serpent-Head.
As far as I know, he's just been an absentee Senator. So your point is well taken, he's never run anything.
