I would ask a real bible teacher like Hank Hanegraaff or DJ Kennedy. Otherwise, in these bible stories, God gave the enemies much opportunity as much as hundreds of years even to comply with His orders. Yes someone can easily say christianity is a religion of violence but give me break *lol* Violence is out of character for christians.
You're missing the Book of the Muslim Apologist". Every time an Islamic group does something like this, you get Muslims and their sympathizers coming out saying Christians do even worse things so there should never be any retaliation on the Muslims. Also they will go back 1000 years ago and pull up some kind of event that never happened and use it to justify what they just did.
