Well it's certainly sloppiness on your part Mr. Brinkley. You didn't bother to require access to all his military records, you took his word for everything,failed to do thorough research for this book, and were as gullible as hell. What a horse's ass. I hope your career as a writer of historical books is over.

Douglas Brinkley is a big time media star historian who took over from Steven Ambrose. My bet is Brinkley's young and enthusiastic (frivolous liberals) staff did much of the work on this book and didn't bother to verify anything. They were in awe of Kerry the "war hero".
