Teresa Heinz Kerry Hospitalized In Iowa Taken To Hospital After Complaining Of An Upset Stomach
Sep 5, 2004 12:25 am US/Eastern MASON CITY, Iowa (AP) Teresa Heinz Kerry, the wife of Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry, was taken to a hospital here late Saturday after complaining of an upset stomach, a spokeswoman said.
She was taken to Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa by ambulance from the airport.
"As a precaution, Mrs. Heinz Kerry had a series of routine tests performed and was released," said Sarah Gegenheimer, a spokeswoman for Heinz Kerry. "She is feeling better and is traveling to her home in Pittsburgh tonight as planned."
Heinz Kerry had just finished a private meeting with a group of local Democrats to talk about health care.
"She was just fatigued I think. She said she felt a little dizzy at one point," said Steve Musson, a local restaurateur at whose home the gathering was held.

Teresa is having difficulties dealing with being a candidate's wife. First the blow up in Flagstaff--now an upset tummy and a trip to the hospital in Iowa. She is not having fun and she will take it out on John. Meanwhile, Bill Clinton will have to curtail his campaigning for Kerry. Talk about a bad weekend!

John Kerry once said that campaigning in Iowa made him sick, and apparently it's now affecting his wife as well. I have a simple solution for that problem: stay out.
