It was time to get medieval on Chechnya a long time ago. For example, in 1995 when the rebels seized a hospital with hundreds of people in it, or when they took the people hostage at the Moscow theater. Those are just few of many similar events.
My question is, What the hell is Putin waiting for?!?!?!?!?!? More and more blood from the Russian people (children)? Or is he just scared that if he was to start cleaning up Chechnya then he is gonna get bad criticism from EU? Well George Bush told the EU to go f.... themselves and still went to Iraq to do his business.

"What the hell is Putin waiting for?"I hear you, brother. Putin better not wait too long because we don't have much time. I believe it will take 20 or 30 years to wrap this war up. In that time, a democrat will get into the WH and the terrorists who are left will be able to act with impunity all over the world, just like they did when Clinton was in office. The time to strike hard is now. Putin should know this. Chirac has no common sense, but I expect more from Putin.

I hope he doesn't wait. Waiting and figuring out quiet diplomacy is mistaken for weakness with these people.

You're right. And look at how they handled the actual tactical situation on the ground. Didn't properly secure the enviornment. Didn't properly cordon off the area. The Russians are drunks. The Russians are losers. I feel sorry for every child in Russia. Their parents are --- by and large --- a bunch of hapless dolts.

My question is, What the hell is Putin waiting for?!?!?!?!?!? Just a thought but the Christian Orthodox period of mourning is days ... THEN revenge.
