Well...did you see any of those pictures from 9-11? All networks, including FOX, have them. No one shows them.

I've seen stills of the jumpers, but I know motion pictures exist. Those motion pictures should be available to all.
The NYT would not want to sensationalize this event with pictures. Ignoring the nomenclature and the graphics of this event is the first step in submission to the terrorists(goons).
