I never served in Nam.. I was on active duty from 1959 until the summer of 1961. There were few if any troops in Nam. I was no longer on active duty when I first heard of Viet Nam.
But I had family and many friends who did serve in Nam. I despised John Kerry then and I despise him now. Only the media elite, who never served anywhere, could believe that any moral person who actually served in the military could support John Kerry.
If you want to know what Vets think of Kerry go to any VFW, Amvets, or American Legion Post and sit down at the bar. You will get an earful. I am not elegible for VFW membership but I do belong to Amvets and the Legion. The vets I have met do not support Kerry. Those of us who served before Nam as well as those who served after.. feel about Kerry the way those that served during Nam. WE don't like him. We consider him a traitor to his country.
I do think this election will be decided much like every other election in the last 100 years. That does not bode well for the Kerry Krew. They just don't get it.

I served my entire tour in South Vietnam. My spouse served two tours. We have held overwhelming dislike for John Forbes Kerry and his ilk for decades. This full frontal assault on this SOB is long overdue. The spirit of the dead on foreign soil demand John Kerry stand before America and apologize and step back from the Democrat nomination. He is worth less than the dog poop on a Vietnam veterans shoe.
