I have read elsewhere that this was a parochial Christian school.
I've not read that nor does Google turn up anything. Do you recall where you read it? What I have read is that the terrorists cased out two other schools in Beslan & that Putin has announced that the school will be razed and a new school will be built in a new location. Also, the school is referred to as ''Middle School One'' which sounds very much more like a public school than a parochial Christian school.
