If John eFFin Kerry is so rich, why doesn't he have a shotgun that fits properly?
You mean he was a SENATOR IN VIET NAM....while ALSO being the biggest and most famous WAR HERO of the VIET NAM WAR ???
YEAH.......you can take it to the bank I wanna see a SENATOR
kerry pick!!!....no "normal" human being on THIS planet would stand a chance of accomplishing such a feat!!!
(.....I'm gonna try to e-mail Manny Ortiz, who is kerry's FAVORITE baseball player on the Boston Red Sox) and see if he's heard any of this Senator stuff....geeezz if he DID do both, man what humility to not even bring the Senator stuff up at HIS OWN CONVENTION !!!
Humility like THAT is a Great character trait for trying to get elected POTUS, and kerry, who is a humble, but STRONG, VN "hero", probably didn't wanna appear to act or look "narcicistic" by "embelishing" how much BETTER is "resume" is, than his opponent!!
....( who I heard was sort of in the "fake" military, but all he accomplished was having like ONE dentist appointment in a 12 month period, nobody remembers ever seeing him, and he QUIT)!!!
That's the TOTAL opposite of our TWO TOUR OF DUTY candidate kerry !!!
What a GUY !!!
Wow! I am like soooooo impressed. NOT!
I'm thinking he has to do these photo ops because he can't draw a crowd to his ralleys!
The bbl. is little short (sarcasm) if he's shooting trap / skeet or hunting; he's failing miserably. Just like his 'campaign.' Looks like a coach gun at a SASS tournament. Then again he wouldn't know a Ruger .38 spl. from a Winchester, Browning, or a Marlin. His mommy keeps him near home on his $6k bicycle dressed in yellow and blue spandex. This guy is the epitome of a nuanced Dork.
Doesn't need hearing protection. After 20 gallons of Botox, he's gonna be okay. Besides, he doesn't 'listen' anyway. Dork is a pathetic excuse for an American combat veteran. My brother flew choppers in Vietnam for two years. Left the Army in '74 as a Capt. He hates Kerry's guts.
I know nothing about shotguns. Does it compare to the one that got Weaver in trouble? Can the length of this be estimated from the photo?
Reminds me of a guy at an outdoor pistol range when I was going to college 35 years ago. The dork sighted the target using his buddy's Browning HiPower, holding it about three inches from his face. The slide's blowback punched his noggin, knocking him out; and the web between his forefinger and thumb was sliced open due to his 'inappropriate' grip.
Whenever I take my kids to the range, we always review the simple rules of gun handling. Revolvers, pistols, rifles, carbines and shotguns. I remind them that every weapon in our house has differing characteristics. The Charles Daly trap gun has no safety... The Scott sbs is a field gun. The Sig P239 and the Ruger Bisley Vaquero are very different shooting weapons. Oh well. It'd be interesting to see The Dork from the strong side shouldering his 12 ga.
"Would you like a Purple Heart with that?"

Thanks for the humor. I needed that. I love FR's candid and accurate sarcasm.
I agree. In my case, I'm left handed, but my right is dominent. I've tried practicing rightie, but I just can't get it. So after 40 years, I continue leftie and still cannot break 23 in a round. I recognize that 'disability' to assimilate the logic with practicality, I still have loads of fun every time I say "pull" and powder a clay bird. Such is life...
Weaver went to jail for a barrel 17 5/8 inches from the end of the chamber. Less than 18 inches is a "Destructive Device" in the rules of the BATF.
Are you British. Subtle humor and to the point! I love it! My wife wonders why I laugh so much when on FR. Keep it up guys! Thanks.
I'm a SASS member (Single Action Shooting Society), and just bought what they call a 'Coach Gun.' It was used in the old West on stage coaches. Mine is a sbs Stoeger SST receiver with blue 20" bbls. It is obviously legal. I believe (not certain) that any bbl. length under 16-1/2" is considered illegal the ATF. Regardless, The Doofus is clueless on his handling of a shooter. I wonder how he manned a weapon as a Swifty. My brother is suprised why he didn't get toasted by one of his crewmates.
Looks like Senator Dry Fire to me.
You're a Navy guy. My Dad did that to young Enseigns. Pretty funny. Taught a lot to the young sailors.
Well, I'm just the opposite of you (right handed and VERY left eye dominate) and couldn't change either.....until.....I had a medical problem on my right side and my doctor gave me the option of changing or giving up shooting (not an option at all). Within 3 months I was shooting better than I had ever shot before the switch and I've been shooting for more years than I want to admit to! To do so would reveal my real age...LOL I had the right motivation...LOL And since it was a "do or die" situation the mental conversion was really easy.
I even hunt left handed now and harvest far more ducks & geese than before...yum!
Hunting white tail, no doubt.
