Well, I hear, "what good would it have done, if ..." Well, maybe, the President could have asked key questions and made some key decisions? Questions: Who did this? Could there be more planes? What steps should we take to protect the American people? Decisions: Ground air-traffic; Evacuate potential targets, such as the Pentagon; Give authority to shoot done planes under specific conditions. Some things to think about.

Hmmmm... while Senator Kerry sat stunned for 40 minutes, the President waited for his staff to give him more info, rather than run away from the schoolchildren like a scared rabbit. Troll alert?

Maybe he was praying...only he can't tell the d**n media or leftists that because they would have apoplexy. I know that is exactly what I would have been doing after news like that. And judging from the remarkable clarity and courage he was given after that, I would say it was time well spent.
To: eruditevoter
Well, the truth is we will never really know what he was thinking. What we do know is that he stayed because of security proceedures going into place.
Have a nice zot.

Did you ever consider that there were already plans in place for emergencies, and didn't have to do anything immediately? Remember, Kerry said he was brainless for 40 minutes.
