and check out those decorations. Holy schnikeys!These guys are familiar names to anyone who has studied the POWs or the air war (Robinson Risner, for instance, was a famous combat leader. Bud Day is more or less tied for most decorated living veteran).
Day is particularly interesting. He doesn't look it but he was born in 1925 and served in World War II -- as a Marine! He also served in the Army before joining the Air Force, and he's a vet of Korea also. (The Army got Mike Novosel from the Air Force, where he fought WWII and Korea, so it all evens out).
