When you have a story like this come out, the best thing is to say "I don't remember it that way" and then ignore it.
I hope Freepers don't raise so much sand that this becomes a major story.
I just did a google search on this story. It hasn't been mentioned anywhere except for the Guardian, Salon, and the usual left-wing sites. The story must be a non-starter, or the Times would have brought it up by now.
