I was thinking UGLY thoughts about Bill & Hillary as she was on TV talking about her "husband" and his heart surgery.... Then I read here on FR that we should pray for Clinton, just think of Paul, before God transformed him. There is time for Clinton to repent. I don't think he will, but I guess we have to always pray for the best outcome in every situation. Maybe God isn't finished with Clinton yet.

A waggish friend of mine said that she wanted to pray to Clinton's Master for him, but did not have enough salt on hand to draw the Pentagram.

But it is true, though. I do not like the Sinkmaster, myself, but he does have his good points, and is indisputably gifted at making people like him. And he COULD make ^You Know Who^ like him, if he wanted to.

I have to admit, I found the thought of praying for Bill Clinton abhorrent at first but then I thought about it and concluded that he has not yet made peace with his Maker and thus, I prayed he had more time to reconcile himself before meeting his ultimate destiny.

Your right, HE is not finished with any of us yet, thanks to HIS great mercy

If you need a reason to pray for Clinton, consider the political clout his death will give to Hillary.

She'd play the grieving widow, and invoke Clinton's name lovingly in speeches. Sympathy plus her baffling popularity with women will overshadow much of her politics and record... and it might be enough to propel her in the White House. (With Bill alive, she's the wife of a popular adulterer. Dead, she'd be the widow of a popular former President. My math says the former is politically good ammo... although alive he can appeal to those women who think he's handsome. So who knows...)

Pray for Bill! May he live a dozen more years.

Me to, but then I thought about that old addage: If you can't say anything good about someone...don't say anything.

So to Bill and Hillary I say "..."

What if he became the next Zell Miller? (With man, this is impossible, but with God, all things are possible)

Absolutely NEBO. My father is the same sort of case. I don't think he will ever repent, but I hold him in my prayers anyway and hold out hope for home.
