"No one has as yet comented on the remarkable fact that last week, Bubba went inside a church, for the first time in years, lugging the old family Bibile, and delivered a horrendous political speech, inside a church, excoritating right wing Christain fundamentalist Republicans...a week later, this..hmm....maybe a warnign from the MAN upstairs?"

Ken, I have just started reading this thread. The past 10 + years my prayer has been that this man was in our Heavenly Father's hand.

This man and his woman have been an enemy of this nation, I will not be one of those who think now I will look compassionate to pray and tell the Heavenly Father what his WILL should be.

These two have never repented for what they have done to this nation and both are accountable for much. It is not a good thing to MOCK our Heavenly Father and these two have MOCK him continuously.

Respect him? Nope. Sorry.

Bill Clinton debased the office he held. He placed the security of the Nation, the lives of her people, the lives of her soldiers and the lives of forigners beneath his personal wants and political needs.

I don't much care if he makes it thru this medical thing or not. It would be nice if he saw the light (and, I suppose, we should pray for such-God help him) and found God and recognized the error of his ways but I doubt it is even in him as a possibility.

Frankly, a fireing squad is what he deserved.

And I mean that literally.

What is really strange about this (and I am a physician) is that the POTUS (evidently) did not have a stress test during office.

Although a thallium stress test is not infallible, the amount of disease he has would likely have been picked up. The fact that he had to have acute coronary syndrome (the chest pain and shortness of breath that is like a mini heart attack) before it was diagnosed is SHAMEFUL.

Any cardiologist Freepers out there?

"Clinton is a little scared of bypass surgery" ------------- I have a feeling Clinton is REALLY scared of meeting his maker and having to atone for his sins. His Lord and Savior suffered more than Clinton could ever imagine.

POTUS (evidently) did not have a stress test during office.

He didn't have time.

Klinton was busy with the "people's" business. Snorting cocaine, humping chubby interns, playing golf, traveling, etc. etc.

Klinton deserves a doctor like me (PhD) who would attempt a heart transplant if only a donor hog could be found.

I hope Bill comes through this surgery with flying colors!! The thought of Hillary as the martyred widow makes me sick-I can just see her looking at old tapes of Jackie Kennedy in 1963.

I think the AP is trying to set up a "gipper story". ie vote for kerry as one for the Clinton-gipper.

Something like you "reap what you sow".

Right now, I do not believe we have been told the whole story, that being the history of Clintons, I will wait and see if what has been told can be verified. This is not a emotional reaction, rather a trained reaction neither joy nor sorrow.

Yacht Chow...

When my father had bypass surgery, I showed up in the waiting room with a bag from McDonald's.

My brother-in-law berated me for bring a McDonald's sack anywhere near a cardiac ICU.

My father's cardiologist reassured me that it was perfectly fine for me to eat Yacht Chow.

"Yacht Chow?" I asked.

"Yep", he said, "For every couple of Bic Macs that you eat, my next boat gets a foot longer..."

Though you may despise this individual but many of the comments are downright leveled with the democrats you despise so much.

Many of you are as bad as they are in being hypocrits. I hope this man has a successful surgical procedure and lives a long life.

What Is Angina? (an-JI-nuh or AN-juh-nuh)

Angina is chest pain or discomfort that occurs when your heart muscle does not get enough blood. Angina may feel like pressure or a squeezing pain in your chest. The pain may also occur in your shoulders, arms, neck, jaw, or back. It may also feel like indigestion.

Angina is a symptom of coronary artery disease (CAD), the most common type of heart disease. CAD occurs when plaque builds up in the coronary arteries. This buildup of plaque is called atherosclerosis. As plaque builds up, the coronary arteries become narrow and stiff. Blood flow to the heart is reduced. This decreases the oxygen supply to the heart muscle.

"It's a serious operation with a lot of serious risks. I don't like Clinton but I don't wish him ill, either."

Just another example of the fact that the overwhelming majority of the people who post on this site are good, decent people.
