having perused the internet korans for info, I just bought my own copy of the koran to study up (not to join!). there were several versions and I picked a conservative version ($29 retail but I got it off auction). I also bought a critical essay book on the ha'dith. quite interesting indeed. any Christian well-schooled in NT Biblical theology would immediate recognize dramatic contradictions between the Bible and the koran. it is this book which fuels their beliefs.
