I read somewhere on a blog (I forget which one) that Scott Lindlaw wrote the original piece. He has written other deeply misleading stories about Bush (what a shock).

That's the citation I saw, not Hays.

Galley slaves dug up the Lexis Nexis cite on the orignial artlicle.

Instapundit and Spoons and even I put Lindlaws name out there.

But the Byline is Tom Hays. Since he was writing out of New York, there are probably other reporters who worked on the story... Galley slaves lists some of the others possibly responsible for the maliciously false content about the boos.

Hayes possibly was listening to a radio feed
