A lot of them come from Canada via the river.

I have heard rumours that some come via Grosse Isle where there isn't a lot of security and there IS a lot of small boat traffic, but I do not know and cannot back that up.

I know that mosque in Ohio.

I hope someone's keeping an eye on it, too.

I've lived on the shore of Lake Erie for 40 years and look out on the Islands (both US and Canadian). Smallcraft ply these waters all summer long and just about any beach is easily accessible. Realistically, some borders just can't be protected.
