The AP booing lie has now made it into Knight Ridder newspapers. When will the media correct this lie? Where is Hannity?

I heard the tape. When the President first announced that Clinton was in the hospital, it was as though the audience said a muffled, "Oh!" expressing surprise. When he asked people to wish Clinton well, the people applauded. I heard NO boos. Shame on the media for lying about these good people. Republicans don't doctor tapes like Hillery did after the 9/11 audience DID boo her.

The bias never stops. I was watching the Capitol Report on CNBC until I had to turn it off. They were glowing about Kerry's midnight madness speech, trashed Bush's speech as lies and mis-statements about Iraq & the economy, not a single person there to present the other side.

And their odds analyst said Bush's lead will be gone in a few days, that's it's the same as Kerry's was!

I heard one short boo but it was drowned out by the applause and signs of agreement with President Bush's wishes for the former President. I can't imagine what AP was originally reporting that the crowd booed unless it was total incompetence on the part of their reporter or deliberate choice on the part of AP.

You do have to watch a commercial before the clip starts.

This was deliberate. Who knows how many other lies they have gotten away with. But now they were getting frantic.

Wrong. The "off-pump" method where the heart continues to beat is (a) relatively new; (b) the preferred approach when the arteries of the front of the heart is involved; and (c) leads to fewer complications. Since older patients tend to have more clogged arteries, the procedure off-pump is done on younger patients: if the clogged arteries are in the rear of the heart they have to put you on the pump. They stop the heart--in part by cooling it. The "on-pump" procedure leads to longer recovery times, "post bypass memory loss" and other cognitive impairments in many cases. If you get the choice--and your surgeon has the chops--opt for "off pump". Trust me; I done been dere.

Something has to be done about the media. Republican leaders have to address this issue and take it up with the media. If they have to file lawsuits so be it. They need to openly label these partisan news organizations. This is a concerted effort in the media to defeat and demonize Republicans and lie about news and present it badly against Republicans. I am angry as hell and this has to stop. They continue to get even worse and need to be confronted. I was not happy about seeing Mrs. Bush sitting down with Dan Rather after he is pushing this slanderous story against her husband that will be on 60 Minutes about his Guard duty. They need to start fighting back. The media can't get any worse.

Instead of making up stories, I suggest the press call for the opening of Mr. Kerry's medical records, as he allegedly had prostate cancer recently.

Would also like to see the MRI he had after his bike fall (according to Tony Snow), and see how the heck he was able to have MRI when he allegedly still carries shrapnel in his body. MRIs and shrapnel do not mix...
