I just called AP. They are now saying the crowd applauded and a few "ooohs" were heard...mistaken by reporter for boos. I asked for the name of the reporter, they would not give it. Dumbasses.

(Now we know who the AP associates with)

Now we know who Kerry and company associate with.

A new TV ad, from a new group, Mothers Opposing Bush or MOB features Edie Falco from the Sopranos. Oy!

Yeah it does look like the Media feels it can take on the attitude of Hearst and Co. Did back in the early 1900's... there is one big difference though that could cost them. People have access to multiple resource outside of their control..and if to many case of Yellow journalism come up and these outlets lose there credibility they will falter...Just ask CNN... The viewer ship drop over the past 3 years has been tied directly to misreporting or skewed reporting.

I called also. The receptionist said her phone was broken and she couldn't transfer me to the communications desk to make a complaint. She said she was getting many calls. She gave me a phone number to call to complain....it turned out to be bogus.

Without Fox News, the anonymous little creep would have gotten away with it.

Notice the difference between the two men: President Bush offered to pray for Clinton and Senator Kerry wanted the crowd to clap for the former President.

I'm actually willing to give Kerry credit. When a player is badly injured at a sporting event, the polite thing to do is to cheer as he is stretchered off the field. I interpret Kerry's actions in this light.

My favorable interpretation of Kerry's actions comes because I try and hold my webblog, which I write on as a hobby, to a higher standard than the AP holds its newsfeed that these guys write for a living.

I was listening to Howie Carr's show, and he mentioned this on his program, giving credit to one of our fellow FReepers, who was at the WI rally, for helping set the record straight.

This is reprehensible. Does anyone know how to contact AP? I am so disgusted with the media. I am one of the biggest Clinton detractors around, and I would never stoop so low as to boo good wishes for his recovery. That sounds more like those on Air America who I clearly heard cheer on McCain's cancer and wish botulism on Bush, Cheney, Arnie, and Zell Miller just yesterday. Where is the AP story on that?

Just talked to Leon, and editor at AP. He chastised me for saying that the story mentioned thousands of people booing. I said, read it, that's what the story said. He said, OK you're right.

When asked to name the reporter that said this, he said he couldn't do that. I said, aren't you interested in finding out? His response was no, that the story had been corrected. I said that it is incredible to me that the AP cannot even identify the individual who reported the falsehood. He mentioned that 4,000 people work for the AP, and that it did not seem incredible to him that he could not identify the reporter.

I am so angry, I will NOT let this rest.
