Alleged Terrorist Lynched by Mob Outside Beslan School Building

Shortly after the situation erupted at the scene of the hostage crisis in the North Ossetian town of Beslan, the area around the school was described as chaotic, with one suspected terrorist attacked by the crowd.

A reporter with Britain’s Sky News described how vigilantes attacked one of the suspected rebels. She said special forces brought out a man on a stretcher and the crowd moved as one and began to attack him.

The soldiers made a token effort to protect him but they have no control, the reporter said.

The chaos is thought to have assisted up to 13 of the hostage-takers to flee the school and hole up in a residential building nearby.

A correspondent from the BBC who is at the scene also called the situation in the streets in the aftermath of the storming as “pandemonium”.

Television pictures showed scores of bloodied children in a state of undress milling around armored personnel carriers as soldiers provided water and first aid. The sound of gunfire could be heard in the background.

A number of the released hostages have reportedly avoided going to hospital, Gazeta.Ru says, further confusing any attempt at a head count by authorities.

And there is some pain so horrific, that lasts forever, that the filth who earn it can't imagine it.

I'm with you. Less civility and more medieval action with these animals. To stop or at least deter these barbarians, select demonstrative usage of neutron warheads on specific targets, i.e., 15 of 19 Saudi's attacked on 9/11...how about a neutron warhead on Mecca or Medina. And let it be known from now on, kill 100 of us, we kill 10,000,000 of you. Sounds cruel, but would be MOST effective.

Yes, I have seen the film. The Russians dealt very effectively at Stalingrad.

On C-span, showing the BBC, they said that the residents of the town killed two "hostage-takers."

At least the translation of Russia's NTV was right, where they were referred to as "terrorists," and the word of choice for the 20 who died was "annihilated."

*As frustrating as it is to wait for courts to do their work, there's a reason civilized people try to work through a court process -- to protect the innocent, not to protect the guilty.*

But a so-called court process would not have guaranteed his lynching and, hence, justice. The rope did. Swift and inexpensive justice.

Moreover, I'm sure Russian forces must have told the throng that the scum was one of fiendish islamic murderers.

Are you certain that the person lynched was one of the terrorists?

Not much of a chance for the law to take its course.

*So angry parents are vigalantes and murderers are militants.*

What follows below is a sample of partial captions to photos I downloaded today. Notice the use of euphemisms by the leftist media to describe the muslime savages:

"Volunteers carry an injured civilian to safety after soldiers stormed a school seized by heavily armed masked men and women in the town of Beslan in the province of North Ossetia near Chechnya"

"Commandos stormed a school Friday in Beslan, a town in the North Ossetia region, and battled militants holding hundreds of hostages as crying children, some naked and covered in blood, fled the building through explosions and gunfire. The Interfax news agency reported that more than 200 people died as the crisis erupted into a chaotic finale."

"Bodies of schoolchildren and hostages killed in a school seizure seen in a hospital morgue in Beslan, North Ossetia, Friday, Sept. 3, 2004. Commandos stormed a school Friday in southern Russia and battled separatist rebels holding 1,200 hostages. An official said the death toll could be significantly higher than 150. (AP Photo/Musa Sadulayev)"

"Volunteers hold stretchers during the rescue operation of Beslan's school. More than 100 people were reportedly killed and hundreds more wounded as Russian special forces stormed a school to free scores of children and adults held hostage by Chechen rebels for almost three days.(AFP/Yuri Tutov)

"heavily armed masked men and women?" It makes my blood boil.

The soldiers couldn't stop the crowd...

...or wouldn't?

I'm thinking it may the latter.

Yeah, I'm sure they probably did.

I just hope they didn't get confused in the fog of war and mis-identify some hapless man (or woman) who was actually a hostage. In combat -- when emotions are running very high -- things like that have happened in the past, so I worry about that.

Some of the "moderate Arabs" are expressing concern. However these same "moderate Arabs" said hardly anything after 9-11. The real message from these "moderate Arabs"?

Ruh roh, we just p!ssed off the bear, and the bear is mean!

On another FR thread concerning this subject, a freeper posted that when (IIRC) Stalin had a continuing situation with a group like the Chechees, and a leader(Kinda like AL-SADR type,or this "leader" of these child murders).

Durring a standoff between the two, Stalin gave the impression that he was maybe ready to "negotiate".

The rebel leader was sent a box from Stalin before the "actual" negotiations were to take place.

The box contained the head of one of the rebel leaders' closest relatives(ie,father, mother, wife, one of his children etc), that Stalin could get a hold of.

The rebel "problem" permanently vanished without a shot fired.

That's a very heartwarming story. But I'm afraid I don't catch your point. You aren't saying that we should adopt Stalin's methods for dealing with terrorists -- right? I don't want anti-terrorist advice from the history of Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, or anyone else like that.

In my VERY humble opinion, if I could actually ever be given a chance to try to solve this problem, here is what I would attempt:

If I could have 5 minutes with GWB,(like thats gonna happen),here is what I would tell him:

GWB should be on the "Red Phone" ASAP with Putin, and ask him if he is NOW ready to join the "Coalition of the Willing" in the world wide fight against terrorism.

GWB should say "If you are, the US will back you 100% in the UN and against the EU , while you PERMANENTLY take care of your terrorist "problem" IF.....AND ONLY IF...

Russia will back theUS 100% in the UN and against the EU "bunch" while the US,(with 24hours notice so Putin can get his "workers" out) PERMANENTLY takes care of Iran's nuclear "program".

If such an agreement could be made, Russia wins BIG by making the Russian people and their country FINALLY free of their "main terrorist problems" and maybe more "investments"
will happen there because it would be a lot safer, making their economy and country worth taking a monetary "risk" with, making a VERY strong case for Russia and Putin to FINALLY become a part of the "team".

The US would greatly benifit, as the Iranians would be given the "signal" to shed themselves of their oppressive government, which would then no longer be able to keep Iraq in such an unstable state, making the "trifecta" complete a LOT sooner that it looks like it would be completed at present.

The Saudis would maybe FINALLY "get on board" and "clean house"......

...Syria would surely know that THEY ARE NEXT, and MAYBE
suddenly "discover"( like Hillary's "discovery" of those "lost" FBI files,) those WMD's that Saddam gave them for "safe keeping".

......Hamas AND Arafat, would REALLY be feeling "quite
lonely" monetarily, AND in the WMD department....

...and I would wager little Kimmey-Jong would probably be like a B.F.Skinner rat in whatever maze we decided he should be put in, as he would be the the LAST AXIS-OF-EVIL left, with hardly any "customers" with any REAL money, to buy any of his very disruptive "toys" that he NEEDS the financial benifits from to keep him in power....

...and then Pakistan could FINALLY be free enough at that point to "take care of their terorist "biz".

...and one other little plus... oil would no longer be able to be used as an "infidel blackmailing tool" by the Mecca and Medina "crowd, and "gasoline prices might PERMANENTLY become a stable and fairly priced world wide commodity,( quite a "positive" thing if it did.)

....and if this could be worked out RIGHT NOW while the pictures and news of the "school incident" are FRESH in the
minds of the world at large, and (in MY "perfect VRWC Freeper world") say before the end of September (which would spoil lil' kimmy jongs planned "October Surprise").....

..do you think the TRAIN LOAD OF DEMS on their way to the "funny farm" will still want to hear their 2004 presidential candidate, "Smith-Corona-Rambo", aka jf'n, how he woulnd have done ALL of the above "differently", in sort of a "Silver Star with a "V" for Valor kind of way ???
