Don't you mean thank Al Gore for the internet? ;-)
Lauren Frayer is listed as an AP Correspondent for sound cuts out of Wisconsin on the broadcast wire.
Mark Belling of 1130 WISN AM in Milwaukee just spoke off the radio to the AP Bureau in Milwaukee.
The AP spokesman said that he WILL NOT DIVULGE the name of the AP reporter that covered President Bush in West Allis, WI today. The AP spokesman then told Mark Belling that he wasn't even going to try and find out.
The PHONE NUMBER for the AP OFFICE in Milwaukee, is 414-225-3580...call and ask them for the name of the REPORTER!!
The Phone is currently busy...
G
The local Milwaukee bureau of the AP has told Mark Belling that it was a national reporter covering the President's campaign, but refused to provide the name of the reporter. Mark has requested that his listeners call the local AP and demand that they release the name of the reporter. The number for those interested is (414) 225-3580.
And AP also uses local stringers, one of whom could have put in the "booing" claim.
She filed that Guardian piece around the time this infamous piece turned up....its her.
LEE HUGHES is the name of the AP SPOKESMAN in Milwaukee that would NOT RELEASE the name of the reporter who covered Pres. Bush in West Allis, WI today...
Mark Belling, WISN 1130 AM in Milwaukee
It was NOT a local stringer. The Milwaukee office of the AP told someone in town here that it was an AP reporter traveling with W.
Note to all the companies who buy AP stories: IS THIS REALLY WHO YOU WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH?
Want to see something hilarious. Look at the title in this link:
http://www.boston.com/news/politics/president/bush/articles/2004/09/03/audience_boos_as_bush_offers_best_wishes_for_clintons_recovery/
And then read the story there.
That narrows it down to Deb or Scott then.
Oooops....no bias there!!
AP office in Milwaukee is being inundated with phone calls now..
414-225-3580
TELL US THE NAME OF THE REPORTER!!!
Great work. We always get our man!!
Whoever it was ought to have his/her happy a$$ FIRED.
Printed media is dead... sites like FR and others are way better for getting your news.

And, you can get a condensed version of Lindlaw coverage.

Fifteen articles: references to "President Bush": 0 for 15. references to "Bush"? 15 for 15.
Hey, Laidlaw! Your bias shows.
If managing editors threaten to cancel AP wire services, which is unlikely as almost all of them are in the tank alongside AP for the Democrats, only then will AP fess up and fire the miscreant reporter.
Don't you all just love the new media..
AP is so unprofessional the "booing" remark could have been added by an editor just because he felt like it. That's how bad AP is.
