Several witnesses have reported that there was NO booing.

The AP story has been changed to remove the claim.

AP corrected the story but the globe has not changed it.

Sean Hannity says that the audience did not express disapproval of the president's statement.

Yeah, and there's a car alarm that goes off three times every night across the street from me. Bush hasn't done a d___d thing about that, either. And down the end of my street, one of the street lights has been out since last Wednesday. Never happened during a Democrat administration.

The president didn't do a thing about those two protestors at the convention last night, either, he waited for them to be carried out then he resumed speaking.

I think that you should ask the moderator to change the title to media spreads lie that the Republicans booed.

And even if they did, what do they want the President to do, go down and spank each and every one of the immature brats? Did Kerry do anything to stop Whoopie or Michael Moore or anyone else? My son's 9 year old friends act so much more grown up than these buffoons on the left!

I attended that West Allis rally and there were NO BOOS!! There was stunned silence after he told us they heard the news enroute to the rally. When he offered our prayers and good wishes, then there was cheering.

THERE WERE NO BOOS!

Even if these people did boo it pales in comparison to the week-long protests that Bush and the GOP went through.

Bush did nothing to stop them (booing audience)

C'mon, you Lefties! Get your story straight! All this time you've been saying that Bush is a censoring dictator...and when he allows people to say what they want in the way they want, he's somehow a "bad guy"?

You Leftists are more schizoid than my ex-wife!

Bush shows his class by wishing the President well, but he is considered responsible for some in the audience who booed?
They are really stretching!!!!

Not to make light of the situation, but if Clinton died, I would assume he would get the same send off as Reagan?? Capital Rotunda, 21 gun salute etc etc? I would assume he would. Just thinking about it, it would seem laughable, but I guess it would be more about upholding the honor of the office of the President, even though Bubba did just about everything he could to dishonor that position. An office built on the sacrifice, the blood, from men and women of the past 200+ years, and that pig treated it like a bordello, showing up in gym shorts and a tee shirt like he was hanging out in a locker room. I`ll never forgive him for that.

He also did nothing to stop the protesters during his acceptance speech at the GOP convention.

Sounds consistant to me.

And, also, has Kerry even mentioned Clinton in his speeches? He is probably ticked-off that this means Clinton will be in the news again and take away from him!
