If local station were covering the event, they'd have ignored the AP wire coverage.

"Many in Bush's audience booed when Clinton's name was mentioned. The president made no comment on that and continued with his rally speech."

This line is no longer included at the boston.com link you provided. Did they remove this comment too??? http://www.boston.com/news/politics/president/bush/articles/2004/09/03/audience_boos_as_bush_offers_best_wishes_for_clintons_recovery/

Just in case you're wondering, I was the one who reported your pornographic link as "abuse." I've looked over your postings, newby, and am pretty sure you're a disrupter pretending to be a Freeper.

Your zottage may be imminent.

There's also a link to the audio on Drudge's site. I didn't hear any boos at all, but I did hear some harty applause when the President sent well wishes to the Clintons.

It's like they tried to pretty it up a little and it still didn't fly.

This quote...

"Bush's audience of thousands in West Allis, Wis., booed. Bush did nothing to stop them.

...becomes this quote...

"Many in Bush's audience booed when Clinton's name was mentioned. The president made no comment on that and continued with his rally speech."

...now nothing!

I have listened to three seperate audio recordings with my headphones, turned up to 11, and I cannot make out a single "Boo". All I hear is polite applause. F'n LIARS! Someones ASS should be fired over at AP!

Well, I thought, and still do, that Clinton was a sorry SOB of a President, but, my pop had a tripple by-pass back in the early 70's when such things were still experimental (they gave him 5 years). And I've had to deal with all the things he's had to go through since.

If you're predisposed of such breakdowns, they don't go away after the surgery, other systems are affected.

We were lucky that God gave pop the subborn gene, and its been a good one since pop has outlived all the doctors that preformed his by-pass and several others since, but he's had to deal with a host of other somewhat related maladies since.

So, as much as I hated Clinton as a president, I don't wish what he's going through on anyone.

It ain't fun.
