"Do you guys remember that heart wrenching photo, from the Oklahoma City bombing, of the fireman cradling the baby in his arms?"
I can never forget that, the baby in OKC is a distant cousin of mine. I admit I never met her as she was really young and I can't remember the last time we had a family reunion. Losing family members to terrorism really gets to you. I was in the Army at the time sitting in the chow hall eating. I was stationed at a small post in Korea. When I first saw the newsbreak on CNN, believe me I was ready for war right then. I grew up around the OKC area though now I call Washington State home.

I hope the Russians break out that old hammer and put a real whupping on those terrorist.

I was discussing the OK City photo with my husband tonight. You are so right, the photo of the man cradling the baby was evocative of that same overwhelming sadness.
