I could not disagree with you more. I don't think that having guns is dangerous in and of itself, but I think we'd have unspeakably dangerous situations on hand if teachers were armed. I am not a pacificists, but I don't think it's a good idea. I don't mind having some weapons on the school property with assigned people to use them if necessary, but I think arming teachers is asking for deadly trouble.
I could not disagree with you more.
then you would not be allowed to teach in my plan.
the first responsibilty for a teacher is to teach and train kids to defend themselves... not cower in fear waiting for someone else to save them, whilst hiding under the desk, as the little kids are executed by terrorists.
grow a spine.
forget the "pantywaist" crap they taught you in college.
sign up for a chance to TEACH over in Iraq, for the USARMY... they would love to have you. Then come back and tell us how you defended real education, and now know how to defeat terrorist school invading scum.
guns ARE MORE necessary in schools NOW more than ever. One automatic weapon for perhaps every dozen kids should suffice. Armed teachers 1/30 students. and Armed guards in the halls about the same ratio. Add a rapid response unit in each county of trained anti terrorist commandos, and you could protect and teach our kids safely.
furthermore arming the adults, lets the scumbuckets KNOW we are waiting to grease their skiis, if they want to try anything.
You don't regularly carry, or fire a gun?
What if the "assigned people" are terrorists? Think about this:
WE are the "assigned people". Assigned - by the Constitution - to defend ourselves against anything and anyone that tries to rob us of our freedom, especially through force.
Let teachers protect their classrooms -- get a vote to get rid of those "gun free" school zone laws, train teachers in gun safety and/or some dirty self-defense tricks, and protect the most vulnerable in America's future.
