I don't think the public school teachers are the primary problem. It's more of a parent problem where my daughter teaches. It's difficult for a teacher to accomplish much without parental backing and involvement.

I think you're exactly right. In all the studies I've seen, parental involvement is the number one greatest impact on student success. It's interesting that we are now hearing these commercials that advocate eating dinner with your family. It's all about family involvement.
