Now wait just a minute... Am I the only one here falling over laughing at this quote. Kerry's campaign supposedly showed RESTRAINT in their reaction to the swiftboat ads?
You have to be kidding me, right.
1) They basically sent out their minions to call them all liars.
2) They tried to silence them by threatening book publishers and media outlets with lawsuits.
3) They accussed President Bush of being the force behind these ads, essentially accusing the president of BREAKING THE LAW
4) They shot themselves in the foot, essentially, by going on and on about Vietnam, essentially turning the public's attention away from any issues for which the MIGHT have some leverage in this election. (What idiots).
If this is the Kerry campaign showing restraint, then I can't wait until they "take the gloves off".
