They already are! Went to the post office yesterday, and tried to make small chitchat with the male postal worker:
Me: Good morning...so, did you listen to any of the RNC this week?
Him: NO! Republicans want to bring SLAVERY back! I am celebrating my 21st ANNIVERSARY with my partner, and THEY want to tell me what I can do in my own bedroom.
Me: WHAT? No they don't. They merely want to leave gay marriage up to the state. And, where on earth did you get the idea that the Republicans want to bring back slavery?
Him: Well, that's I've been hearing!
Me: Well, you have a nice day, sir.
Argggh...I thought he was gonna go postal, so I left it alone.
