The problem with Islam aside from all the other obvious ones is that a vast number of Moslems that are not directly involved in terrorism support it by doing nothing. They do not condemn it. They dance in the streets and celebrate atrocities.

If a Christian bombs an abortion clinic , all Christianity rises up and denounces it.

If a Jew shoots up a mosque then all Jews stand up and denounce it.

If a Moslem brutally slaughters innocent children, Many Moslems dance in the streets, but most close their doors and pretend not to see it. The mullah's preach bloody slaughter from the pulpits and pretend that Islam is a religion of Peace.

Two Houses
The Koran sees the world as divided into two - one part which has come under Islamic rule and one part which is supposed to come under Islamic rule in the future. There is a division of the world which is very clear. Every single person who starts studying Islam knows it. The world is described as Dar al-Islam (the house of Islam) - that's the place where Islam rules - and the other part which is called Dar al-Harb - the house of war. Not the "house of non-Muslims," but the "house of war." It is this house of war which as to be, at the end of time, conquered. The world will continue to be in the house of war until it comes under Islamic rule. This is the norm. Why? Because Allah says it's so in the Koran. God has sent Mohammed with the true religion in order that the truth will overcome all other religions.

The thousands of Islamic terrorist attacks that have taken place over the last 30 years show that the muslims believe what is written above. It's about time the West acted accordingly to win this war.

BTW, as you know, "Islam" doesn't mean "peace", it means "submission". Putatively, it means submission to Allah, but since we all know that on this earth, men "interpret" the will of God, it means that Islamic fascists want us to submit to them.

I have to agree jimbo. I usually try to stay balanced on these issues despite my passion. Alberuni needs to look in the mirror and understand that his attitude is what's driving most Americans towards the solutions expressed in this thread. Look at Iraq. It's the exact SAME STORY with a different group of innocents. In Iraq, Islamic Radicals kill innocent Islamic women and children just to "resist" the liberation and democracy. I have yet to see one demonstration about this slaughter and horror in ANY Islamic country!!!

Where is the outrage? Where is the condemnation? Where are the courageous Muslem leaders taking the high road and standing up for truth and innocence? They're too busy blaming the US for all their murderous scum!

"Removal of islamist scum" sounds good but, again, as you start removing it, scum's ideology will bring to existence so much more scum, that it will be even harder to do. Our people and our leaders have to find a way to contain Islamist ideology much like they did to Communism.

Ronald Reagan killed Soviet Union without bombs, by the power of free capitalistic society and ideology of personal freedom. Sooner or later Muslims will get it too. Until then they should be contained and closely watched.
